Review of Inside Man (2006) by Luke W — 22 Feb 2010
A riveting film with great performances from great actors. The story is interspersed with clips of Washington and his partner interviewing the hostages, which might seem like a bit of a spoiler, but it really shouldn't bother you. Instead, Owen and Washington are at the forefront here, and their maneuvers, along with the other actor's response, make for the most interesting parts of the film.
Just as a side note: What does an Indian pop song have to do with a bank heist film? It was the only thing that was out of place in an otherwise professional, somber production such as this.
