Review of Inside Man (2006) by Zach M — 07 Feb 2012
Suspenseful throughout, however not one of Spike Lees best. I think he needs to take one his movie sets out of NY and do something different. Once again Denzel plays the same over intelligent, take no crap sort of tough guy whose moral objectives are put to the test to achieve good, but pays off in the end.
If anything the movie is held high by Clive Owens performance, someone with more presence who finally makes Denzel seem like a supporting actor in this film, were he not the bad guy(sort of thing). Great plan, with a concept that would appear highly controversial were it voiced.
The ending seemed unbelievable though, with once again Denzel coming out on top.
