Review of Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) by Anatoly S — 18 Apr 2014
...a soulful and thought-provoking period piece brought to life by Oscar Isaac's powerhouse performance as an actor and a singer at the same time. The Coen Brothers excellently utilized him as the film's asset while they execute literal and metaphorical expressionism throughout the film.
This atmospheric tale is haunting and melancholy as much as it is funny.
