Review of Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) by Eric L — 02 Nov 2014

The music was lovely to listen to and the film was stunning to look at. Isaac in particular gave a stellar performance but I actually found parts of the film dragged. It takes a lot for me to find a film slow, so this was definitely saying something! The relationships were still beautifully played out and I found it emotional an interesting but there was just something missing for me to make it completely engaging and a film I would rave about.

I did, however, LOVE the use of the cat.
