Review of Inside Job (2010) by Aaron M — 12 May 2011
Really good educational doc on the 2008 financial crisis and how we got there. I think a lot of people would benefit from seeing this b/c I'm not convinced that your everyday person even understands how it all happened.
This does a good job of simplifying the whole thing. Then once the understanding kicks in, you can get pissed off at how deregulation is crumbling our society one merger at a time and how no one seems intent on doing anything to affect a reversal on the madness.
Our elected officials are slaves to the dollar, plain and simple. Hard to believe no one has been forced to pay any money back nor has anyone served any prison time over this. Just boggles the mind. We're that stupid.
