Although it does a relatively okay job introducing economic-ignorant Americans to the terms and banking, it falsely blames deregulation only. There was way more involved than just deregulation.

Throughout the first 45 minutes or more, the film does nothing but blame capitalism and Republicans. Then they interview Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) who pushed for the legislation that demanded sub-prime mortgages and predatory lending in the mid 1990's. Then they have millionaire George Soros who has collapsed multiple foreign economies for fun. This "documentary" gives us a good STARTING point but it is in no way the whole story.

This is mostly leftist propaganda against Republicans up until the writers and producers were forced to admit that Democrats were just as guilt of corruption. They blame Capitalism, Wall Street, and the "evil" Rich for everything but they neglect to mention that Crony-Capitalism is the problem, that Wall Street does not have sole responsibility due to politicians passing sweetheart deals, nor do they mention that those they were interviewing were all involved in this corruption; some more, some less.

I am in no way saying that no Republican's were guilty of corruption but that stating that ALL Republican's are responsible is irresponsible. Documentaries should be honest not agenda driven. Sadly, due to to those that they chose as key interviewees as well as playing the blame game, this documentary loses considerable credibility.
