Review of Inside Job (2010) by Craig D — 06 Nov 2011
Surely the film with the most detestable and biggest bunch of greedy bastards to ever feature in a film. This is more Paxman than the smart arse approach taken by Michael Moore's "capitalism a love story" whislt also looking at the top and systematic failings or simply put - fraud on a massive scale. Add fuel to Bill Hicks fire, that politics is a very dark and merky area morally and within it's roots.
The films biggest strength is that principally it doesn't primary stand on capitalism is evil, but on how and why the global recession happened. Somewhat surprisingly it also highlights "Obama - the puppet on the left......hey someone controlling him" bringing to mind the inhering failures and inability of our government. However where the film lacks, is it's padding for pointing out the obviously such as the continual economic decline as result to the eastern world and global markets.
It is however well put together, entertaining, and evocative; all whilst providing a detail easy to understand breakdown to why the financial sectors went wrong.
