Ferguson's jerky, manipulative approach to documentary bothers me, but "Inside Job" does a pretty good job of laying out the financial crisis and its roots in a deregulized market, and, while there's nothing that will be terribly new to anyone who has followed the whole mess, it effectively brings it all together into a piece of non-fiction with the propulsion of a political thriller.
