Review of Inside Job (2010) by Jonathan P — 22 Nov 2013
I am incredibly hesitant about any movie narrated by openly liberal Matt Damon. Inside Job is more of an argument of a position than a documentary, adding an element of drama but also the influence of political bias.
Nevertheless, it is mostly fair in its analysis (only moderately favoring the liberals) and reveals the intimate relationship between the United States government and Wall Street. I think Inside Job is a great introduction to the questionable ethics of contemporary economics and politics, but nothing substitutes quality research and study.
No one wins arguments or effects change by quoting documentaries. Great watch, but remember who's directing and whose narrating.
