Review of Inside Deep Throat (2005) by Mikael K — 03 Feb 2009
A very interesting documentary. This was an eye opener for me,i really had no idea all this went on in the early 70s.The documentary wisely chooses not to concentrate too deeply on Linda Lovelace's clams of being forced into making the movie, but on the cultural impact of the film and how it changed the sex industry.
Bringing XXX away from the dirty-raincoat brigade and into the lives of mainstream audiences. It focuses on the American government attempt to ban pornography completely. All this attention only made people want watch it,and they did, making " Deep Throat " the most profitable movie in motion picture history.
How Ironic can you get.
