Review of Inside (2012) by Shawn S — 17 Jun 2008
Not too bad.... However it could of been better. This was trueley a unique storyline. This set of pyschotic parents catches a neighbor kid spying on them and he looks just like thier dead son. We soon discover the deep dark secrets that they have.
So since they think he is their dead son they keep him and lock him up. Once these are discovered the movie seems to kind of drag on a bit. It just seems that the story is getting repeated. It comes to the point like we get it already and is he ever gonna get out of this new found hell.
It does the whole build up tension thing you think hes gonna escape and he doesn't and that repeats several times. You are left asking yourself several times many questions as to why this kid is captured and although he gets injured.
There was a scene where his new abusive mother was in the garden with him and he had a chance to wheel away to saftey in his wheel chair. I would of whacked her out with a vase and made a break.
