Review of Insanitarium (2008) by Rebbecca R — 23 May 2009
Usually I like the movies the kind of blend the lines between what's real and not. Where the crazy people seam slightly less crazy and you start to wonder about your own reality... This didn't do that.
.. at all. It starts off pretty good, then it becomes an hour of running away from cannibal-like crazy people in a typical zombie-esque fashion. The story is a crazy doctor gave people at an asylum a drug that makes them even more crazy, along with a violent drug lust.
This has a complete lack of jumpy scary horror, but makes up for it with an abundance of blood. Not so much gore, just blood. In any event, this wasn't horrible if you're completely bored and need some violence, but it's in no way considered a good horror flick.
