Review of Innocent Blood (1992) by Michael C — 22 Mar 2009
As a fan of An American Werewolf in London I was excited to learn that John Landis had directed another horror comedy, in this instance a vampire one. While this film does not measure up to Werewolf any day of the week, it is still fairly funny, and the horror elements are not bad either.
Anne Parillaud obviously doesn't have that much experience with the English language but she does manage to be charming in the role regardless (and since her character is also French it makes sense), and seeing Don Rickles pop up in a film like this was still pretty fun.
