Review of Innerspace (1987) by Devin K — 25 Jun 2009
It may not be the best one from the 80's, but this is what im talking about when I say they dont make em like they used to. family movies have dipped in recant years and are starting to look as though they have just come of a production line.
films like this back to the future and the goonies remind me of a time when a movie had an individuality an honest and a spirit. innerspace is timeless with a great 80's soundtrack. the cast are great meg ryan was beautiful, Dennis quaid was a little like a poor mans Harrison ford but did the trick, and martin short.
well, he totally steals the show with his totally over the top nervous wreak safeway employee "jack" . the story is timeless and will be watched by kids on bank holiday weekends for decades.
