Review of Innerspace (1987) by Nelson P — 21 Jun 2010
Another 80's sci-fi comedy. Well this one starts off with a lieutenant named Tuck played by Dennis Quaid who is in a little experiment that goes completley wrong as inside a little pod he is minimised and than is injected into a anxiety panic store clerk called Jack. Now Jack with Tuck inside his human anatomy must find a way to get himself out. Or Tuck will be digested down Jack's stomach if nothing is done soon.
The film is a fun film with funny performances from Dennis Quaid, Meg Ryan and Martin Short. The visual effects in this film are wacky and fun. The enjoyment starts to kick in when Dennis is in Martin Shorts body starting to get him to loosen up. All in all I can say it's a funny film that is enjoyable. If you have ever seen any of those scientific films about the human body which is made a whole lot more funnier in a wacky adventure.
