Review of Inner Demons (2014) by Jeanduchamp — 10 Jan 2016
Yet another false documentary, which desperately tries to be realistic but instead turns out as something cheap, confused and blatantly amateurish.
A teenage girl happened to take up with wrong guys, those by means of some cabalistic procedure have inserted in her some sort of a demon, which in his turn influenced the poor child to take drugs and disobey her parents. When the worrying progenitors persuaded her at last to undergo a course of medical treatment, things went only worse, what one may expect presuming that the diagnosis was wrong - the girl was treated for drug addiction, not for demon possession. Well, nothing is perfect, so for the modern medicine...
There was just one moment, on the fortieth minute approximately, when I detected something vaguely scary (you know, one of these funny things with big teeth and everything which jump in a mirror and begin making grimaces when we turn our back to it), apart from this rather standard appearance, nothing else even remotely scary (in my humble opinion) happened.
Well, I may only sincerely hope that watching this movie will teach some young girls how to behave well and not to behave badly, then it could at least somehow justify its existence. Amen.
