1997? Eh? Anyway this film is almost impenetrable to the laymen movie goer, so if you don't like Lynch or Art house steer clear. However I like both so like this film. I can't admit to know exactly what is going on all the way through the film but picked up most of it.
It's an interesting reflection on Mulholland Drive and Laura Dern delivers the performance of her life! There are some interesting cameos from various actors and Lynch's humour is refreshing through a dark compelling journey through some of his favourite themes, Sexuality, time, weird and wonderful.
Look out for the theme tune sang by Lynch himself, a few classic Lynch references and one of the scariest images I have ever seen in a film! The missus is still berating me for taking her to see it because of the nightmares that have followed.
