Review of Inland Empire (2006) by River W — 03 Feb 2009
The thing is, I most definitely need to see this again, it will be way better and I know my rating will probably jump a star. Hell maybe a third viewing will get it 5 stars. And that's just cheap, because for the casual viewer... well i'm guessing the casual viewer won't even make it through.
Weird stuff; lots to figure out in this one. I hope Lynch does another "normal" flick soon, rather than continue down his rabbit-hole.
I had some issues with the digital film, but they wore away through the movie. This whole thing is just... it's just a trip. I'll come back to soon hopefully.
