Review of Inland Empire (2006) by Chris V — 13 Oct 2009

I keep going back to david lynch, I think mostly to say "yeah ive seen it"...i really enjoyed Lost Highway & Mulholland Drive...but this one just lost me...the narrative actually starts off really good, the crazy eastern european lady was surreal but not completely impossible.

..the rabbits totally lost me, but in a good way...but about halfway thru, everything just falls apart, once Dern starts to apparently go insane...and I know this is shallow, but I think the fact that laura dern is so horribly ugly just kept distracting me from anything else.
