Review of Inland Empire (2006) by Sabra E — 28 Mar 2010
Oh man, by the time this movie was over I congratulated myself for climbing Mount Everest with a big exhale of accomplishment. Dern was a machine in range from catatonic to smiles in the sun, the hookers were a nice touch, funny; some scenes made me lunge for the volume as not to raise the brows of the neighbors upstairs (even though they pace like crazy); I'm sure that every shot in every scene, slapped into a frame and hung would reek Lynch, in the way of style.
