Review #340 Suspense, Indie Romance.
Now If I had to make a list of the strangest, yet oddly awesome movies, I would have to add 'Inland Empire' to that list.
Laura Dern truely gave one her most commanding, and greatest performances. I am laura dern fan, so that indeed kicked butt. She has done many david Lynch films, which are all pretty out there, but I really do enjoy his priginality, and his films dark, and seductive themes.
"Inland Empire is a strange tale that is far beyond normal. David Lynch let's you enter his dark, and creepy world of surreal romance and heartache wih a fantastic oscar type performance from it's lead 'Laura Dern".
Although the plot was non-exsistent, Dern was very alive on the screen. no faults from Dern, and maybe that is why this film wasn't such a snooze fest.
