Review of Inland Empire (2006) by Charles R — 17 Nov 2012
The most terrifying film I've ever watched in my life. Sets up an intriguing premise and stuffs it full of surreal and nonsensical imagery, though while this is probably Lynch's strangest film he actually gives us a finale that sheds some light on the seemingly unexplainable 3 hours without forfeiting any of its mysterious power and impact.
Watch it alone late at night and I promise you'll never forget it as long as you live.
