The most nightmarish of all of his movies, like a 3 hour version of Meshes of the Afternoon. The lack of coherent narrative doesn't make it bad, but the only thing that kept me engaged with the film was fear.
I appreciate the fact that he isn't repeating himself (same motifs, yes, but different way of constructing a film). Extremely unpleasant experience, and yet I'm considering seeing it again.
