Review of Inkheart (2008) by Margot N — 22 Dec 2009
I quite enjoyed this movie. Even though I'm incapable of taking Brendan Fraser seriously, I thought the cast was wonderfully put together, and the acting of Paul Bettany, Helen Mirren, and Andy Serkis was particularly fantastic.
It was funny, light, cute, interesting, and made me want to read the trilogy. I'm a big fan of this kind of fantasy, and while it's not as good as many recent movies in its genre, it's quite solid.
