Review of Inkheart (2008) by John L — 14 Dec 2009
This will probably go down as one of my favorite movies of 2009. Very Jumanji-esq in it's fantasy and family friendliness. Brendan Fraser plays a surprisingly serious role, but pulls it off masterfully.
Andy Serkis was excellent as the villainous Capricorn. The CGI is top-notch and accents the film well, never once becoming a drain on or distracting us from the plot. Definite recommendation!
