What a great movie. Brendan Fraser is great as always, bringing his quirky and likable personality once more to a movie that would have been less without it.
The story itself was lacking and hole ridden, but that is the price of bringing a book to the big screen. The elements of the written story that round everything out rarely convert well.
What remained was a pretty decent movie with just the right mix of drama, action and comedy.
