Haven't read the book, but I love movies like this. In fact, I enjoy most of the whacky sci-fi adventure movie Brendan Fraser does. Not that I'm a member of his fan club, no. I just like the style of movie he does.
This film reminds me of The Never Ending Story with a twist. I guess twists are always good. Of course, it has a different plot and it's pretty entertaining. I will always be a fan of books turned into movies.
Just imagine what a world we would have if we get our own Silver Tongues in every city. Creepy. I'm sure glad that this is only a movie. You should watch it and be very careful what book you read.
