Sounds like the work of a precocious, literate 13-year-old girl who learned most of her vocabulary from Stephen Chbosky and Bright Eyes. Which is fine if you're into that, but I like my fantasy films considerably less pretentious, if you please.
God, this was cringeworthy in some many unexpected ways.
