Review of Initial D (2005) by Zhi Jun L — 02 Jun 2008
I decided to give this another chance after watching the anime, thinking I didn't fully appreciate it the first time... but wow, its still pretty bad. What I didn't like was the weird changes of camera angles, some pacing issues and the fast or slow movements probably made to look cool. Only good thing were the car races which kept rather true to the anime, as for the actors...not much to be said since they weren't anything special.
Soundtrack definitely wasn't as awesome compared to the anime, guess that contributed to a large factor too.
