Review of Inherent Vice (2014) by Dirigiblepulp — 01 Feb 2015
Strange, incomprehensible and alluring. Mostly a character driven dialogue affair. The plot doesn't make much sense, which is exactly the point, but it kinda hurts the film at the same time since so much time is spent talking about it.
What you get is nostalgia, and melancholy, and hilarity, great acting, witty dialogue and a solid soundtrack.
