Review of Inherent Vice (2014) by Aaron C — 30 Jun 2015
A very unconventional piece of storytelling, Inherent Vice takes you on a convoluted, complex, and haze-filled journey of crime in the early 1970s, with a densely layered script that contains clever and often funny dialogue among the ensemble of unique characters.
While it doesn't rank as P.T. Anderson's best work, it's still a worthy adaptation of the novel it's based on and should satisfy fans of Anderson.
