It's more of an experience than a film, an absolute joy, but completely off its head. Joaquim Phoenix is fast becoming the best actor on the planet, just compare his roles in Gladiator, Her and Inherent Vice.
Three completely different roles and three fantastic performances. If it wasn't for the subject matter I am sure he could have walked the Best Actor vote this year.
