Review of Inherent Vice (2014) by Sam W — 02 Feb 2015
A confusing portrayal of the 70's drug scene in America where everyone is linked to everyone else and everything can be used as an excuse to promote a political agenda. Great performance by Phoenix as the doped up PI.
Although the tone of the setting is maintained throughout, it struggles with its coherence in parts and struggles to keep up the interest over the long running time.
