Paul Thomas Anderson has made way better movies than this. Incoherent Vice would have been a better name. But it is that incoherence that gives it the drug addled sheen not unlike it's protagonist Doc and he is a loveable stoner indeed .
Maybe a second watch in 6 months would do it justice.
