Sometimes when you pick a random movie at the DVD shop just because the title sounds interesting, you get a real winner. Unfortunately, buying this movie turned out not to be one of those times.
The idea, a father desperate for a pair of transplant lungs for his daughter, goes to Mexico in search of a doctor who has 'contacts', sounds promising, but that's as good as it gets. I actually fell asleep 15 minutes from the end, only to wake up to the closing scenes. My wife told me what had happened, and I was grateful I missed it.
John Q was much better.
