Bravura performances, (especially by the immensely talented Plaza), can?t help a well-intentioned film on an important sociological subject rise above an aimless script. It tries to be ?The King of Comedy? for the millennial era, but just misses its mark.
Still - there?s great work by Plaza, Olsen, Russell and especially Jackson.
