Watching this film was an uncomfortable experience which proves Aubry Plaza played her mentally ill, obnoxious protagonist well. Ingrid Goes West isn't a comedy because it's not funny and it's not a drama either.
It's just an annoying yet insightful movie about this current generation's unhealthy obsession with social media and to be fair, the movie did a good job of portraying that.
