Review of Inglourious Basterds (2009) by Chad D — 19 Jul 2013
My personal favorite of Tarantino's films, Inglourious Basterds is a prime example of Tarantino's signature style, and brings to the screen one of his most entertaining and well brought together scripts.
Sometimes I feel Tarantino draws out his films with unnecessary action and plot thicken. In Inglourious Basterds, Tarantino provides long sequences of incredibly well written dialogue between its characters instead of long drawn out action sequences.
In doing so, I felt more tense and dramatic, instead of the usual overdone (although incredibly entertaining) brash and gory violence.
