Review of Inglourious Basterds (2009) by Paul R — 09 Oct 2013
I must have watched this film 4 times already this year. It gets better with every viewing. Tarantino has written and directed yet another corker. In Nazi occupied France during World War II, a group of American soldiers are on a mission to spread fear through Nazi Germany.
At the same time a French cinema owner plots her revenge on the Nazi's with extreme consequences. This film is full of classic quality Tarantino dialogue but also has such a fabulous casts who bring this film to real life.
Particular praise to Christoph Waltz who is scarily good as the intense Colonel Hans Landa. It's fast paced, fun and full of violence. A must see Tarantino.
