Review of Inglourious Basterds (2009) by Nelson P — 16 Jul 2014

While nearly every single WWII film, featuring the brutalities of what the German army had done to the Jewish communities under Hitler's rule, has been quite the somber affair, no other film (nor film maker for that matter) has succeeded in making history so much damn fun.

Quentin Tarantino's fantasy/fact based film about a group of soldier's mission to take out Hitler himself (and brutally doing so) is a blast to watch, especially the exchanges between all characters involved.

However, the break out star of this film is, hands down, Christoph Waltz and his villainous performance as Colonel Hans Landa!
