Review of Inglourious Basterds (2009) by Bill B — 19 Aug 2015

Gave this a second look on Blu-ray, and it holds up remarkably well, the bits I found slightly tedious the first time around didn't bother me as much, presumably because I knew what to expect. Great film, happy to own it.

The general consensus is that this film isn't exactly what we've been sold in the trailers, and for the most part that's true, but it also adds exponentially to the movie going experience by giving us a much broader story than just following Pitt and his Basterds would have.

This was a lot of fun, and a few pacing issues aside, something I picked up as soon as it hit Blu-ray.
