Review of Inglourious Basterds (2009) by Scott J — 20 Mar 2016
At his best, Quentin Tarantino is a uniquely gifted storyteller, giving life beyond simplistic themes and plots. This is Tarantino at his best. Badass, daring, and gripping, Inglorious Basterds is a thriller worthwhile, no matter your already formed opinion about Tarantino's style.
But it's not just the director that makes this movie phenomenal. Stellar performances from Brad Pitt and a breakout role from Christoph Waltz give further dimension to an already complex WWII drama.
