Review of Inglourious Basterds (2009) by Sam D — 11 Apr 2014
Genius! It amazes me how a movie that essentially was so slow, seemed to speed along at an electrifying rate. Somehow, 2 and a half hours of tension-building dialogue felt like an hour and a half of non-stop thrills.
In typical Tarantino style this film, which could have been just another run of the mill, confrontational war film, is a refreshing piece of cinema that you can really sink your teeth into. This propaganda-esc film is part drama, part comedy, part action, part spaghetti Western and all amazing!! "I think this might just be me' master-piece!".
