Tarantino's WWII-era black comedy sees a battalion of Jewish resistance fighters terrorise the Nazi Regime through bat-bashing and scalping, with Christopher Waltz stealing the show in every scene as the sociopath SS Officer Hans Landa, the 'Jew Hunter', and Bradd Pitt as Lieutenant Aldo Raine, who epitomises the black comedy of Inglorious Basterds.
