Review of Inglourious Basterds (2009) by Bradley J — 18 Sep 2015
Tarantino is back with a flavour in this rather well pieced and toned war exploit. With a few black marks (Brad Pitt being the worst of them) from Quentin and some unneeded attempts for director branding which could have actually been done well, it's not a perfect movie. And as to be expected, it's duly over the top, but with such a brilliant script and some of the best tension setting scenes in any movie I've seen in a while Basterds is certainly an easy watch.
Christoph Waltz pulls of the best performance amongst a cast of great talent, weakest of all is dissapointingly the biggest name of the lot, and it's dissapointing to see such poor displays of american british, even is Mike Myers is funny.
