Great movie, but there's better Tarantino movies. Inglourious Basterds follows many characters all at once and it would be very hard to explain the story, but I'll just say the important characters and their plot in short.

At first we follow a French family who're hiding Jews as a nazi inspection comes to, well, inspect their home for Jews. One girl survives, Shosanna, and changes her name and appearance to blend in with the nazi-occupied France.

We follow her for a while, but 4 years later, as she is a cinema manager. Then, at the same time we follow the Basterds. A team of Jew Americans who love killing Nazis. And last, but certainly not the least, we follow the enemy, Hitler mostly.

It's divided into chapters and each chapters focuses on one of those three stories, but in the end they all get together in an explosive and brutal finale! Now, I have to admit that this is the second Tarantino movie which became a bit tedious to me after about half of the movie (first being Death Proof).

I think the reason for that was the fact that there are many long running scenes of just talking and nothing really important happening, for example the tavern scene, which was very intense, but the wait was very tiresome.

The acting in the movie is great, no complaints there. Also, speaking of acting, it was a surprise seeing Mike Myers in this movie! I hoped he would have a bit of a larger role, as I love the actor, but I was satisified by just seeing him again on-screen.

The characters are very well made, and I especially loved Eli Roth's Donny and Christoph Waltz's Hans. The scene where the Basterds are pretending to be Italians is priceless! The way Hitler was portrayed in this movie is also quite amusing, to say the least.

The movie looks wonderful, and has, again, a very well composed soundtrack that fits in with the scenes perfectly! The ending is very satisfying and I loved the cinema massacre (cinemassacre, if you will)! All in all, a very good Tarantino movie which is a bit overly long, but it's worth watching as it has some truly intense scenes, as well as those that are truly hilarious.

I would highly recommend checking it out!
