Review of Inferno (2016) by Damien A — 15 Oct 2016
The opening minutes where flash backs are used to create a confused state were brilliant. The script let this film down. It felt as though there were many parts of the plot left unexplored. The relationship between the WHO and the private security company boss would have been one nicer expansion.
The decision to kill off the head of the latter was shortsighted as Irrfan Khan played the role to a tee. There were lots of cliche sequences throughout, which if you enjoy predictability in a supposedly suspenseful film would be appealing.
