Review of Inferno (2016) by Manon M — 23 Oct 2016
"Inferno" starts off well, with Robert Langdon bleeding and confused, waking up in a hospital in Florence. The plot happens instantly, building up tons of unanswered questions. But as it unfolds, it gets more and more silly... there are barely any puzzles here, and the film's main antagonist is dramatically underused.
I haven't been much of a fan of "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons", but "Inferno" is definitely the worst in the series... at the end, I was almost bored by these kindergarten art history clues, delivering a level of silliness that is almost insulting.
Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones... seriously, you both can do better!
