Review of Inferno (2016) by Jeannette Z — 28 Oct 2016
I read Dan Brown's Inferno and was looking forward to the movie as I wanted to see this story come to life. I was very disappointed in the movie translation. Many of the plot items were rushed through or glossed over.
If you hadn't read the book it would have been difficult to follow the story as there wasn't a lot of explanation about why everyone was in such a hurry or why everyone chasing Robert Langdon and his companion.
I especially wanted to see the end of the movie because of how Brown ended his book. So the end of the movie comes, and ... WTF! Ron Howard totally changed the end of the story. It was nothing like the book, nothing! I was so disappointed.
