Review of Inferno (2016) by Shazad A — 29 Nov 2016
The franchise Hanks and Howard never had during their 90s heyday, which probably explains why they're hanging on for dear life during the twilight of their careers. Starts improbably and keeps getting worse, with each twist raising eyebrows rather than tensions.
The likes of Sidse Knudsen and Omar Sy do their best, but they're also a disappointing reminder that films like this is so well resourced they can actually cast their net trans-nationally to find actors who are too good for this shit.
